The Best Free Events in Liverpool this Summer
Keeping the kids entertained throughout summer is no easy task and finding ways to occupy their attention without breaking the bank is even harder! Thankfully there are plenty of free events in Liverpool this summer to keep everyone happy.
Visit the Urban Beach
July 21 to Sunday, September 2
With more than 30 tonnes of sand, Calderstones Park will yet again be transformed into a spectacular beach resort this summer! Open from 10:30-5:30, there will be various rides and attractions, including a canoe water ride, priced at just £1.50!
Football on the Docks
August 1 to Wednesday 22 August
With the help both Everton in the Community and the LFC Foundation, a huge artificial pitch is coming to the Albert Dock this summer with free coaching sessions for the kids. There’s no pre-booking required and boys and girls of all ages and abilities are welcome to drop in.
July 14 to Sunday, July 15, 10am to 6pm
Get up close and personal with a wide variety of beautiful classic and vintage cars as they take over Albert Dock this summer.
Visit the Museum of Liverpool
Hosting a variety of free workshops for both parents and children throughout the summer months, the Museum of Liverpool is a great place to visit for the whole family!
Take a Trip to the Beach
Merseyside is home to a number of beautiful beaches, all ideal for soaking up the summer sun and having a great day out! Let the kids explore the long sandy stretches or help them build some towering sand castles. A quick Google search will reveal plenty of local beaches, however if you fancy travelling a bit further, there are some excellent hidden beaches that are well worth the drive!
