Things to Do in and around Liverpool During the 2019 Easter Holidays

If you and the kids are trying to think of ways to spend the Easter holidays in Liverpool, here’s some inspiration! There is something to keep everyone entertained on our list:

Wizard of Oz at the Epstein Theatre

Head to the Epstein the Theatre this April for a special Easter panto. The Wizard of Oz is being performed from the 11th to the 22nd with X-Factor’s Sean Smith joining the cast as the Tin Man and broadcaster Claire Simmo starring as Glinda.

Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt

Cadbury’s Easter egg hunts are coming to National Trust sites all over the UK. Bring the family to Hardmans’ House or Speke Hall in Liverpool this Easter weekend to discover some chocolate treats!

Teddy Bear’s Picnic

If you go down to the Philharmonic Hall this Sunday, you’re sure of a big surprise! The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, with music composed by Ian Stephens.

Giant Easter Duck Trail

For a change from hunting eggs, why not hunt some giant ducks at Martin Mere Wetland Centre? There are also crafts to take part in and the Centre’s new Pond Zone will be opening in April too. The giant rubber duck hunt will be taking place between the 6th and the 22nd of April.

The Wonderful World of Disney on Ice

Join your favourite Disney characters on the Liverpool Waterfront as they combine storytelling and dance on ice skates! The magical event will be on from the 17th to the 21st of April and tickets can be booked online.

Beer and Cider Festival in the Bombed-Out Church

Easter isn’t just for the kids! Treat yourself to a tipple at St. Luke’s Bombed Out Church, where up to 150 real ales and 50 ciders will be on offer to taste alongside boutique gins, wines and prosecco. Local, independent food suppliers will also be attending to help you soak up the alcohol.
